The Investment Industry Leadership Forum is a Chatham House Rule industry-only forum for investment managers and sustainability leaders within asset management. The forum is designed to provide participants with an opportunity for frank discussion on the forces and issues impacting investment management and for exchanging experiences and ideas on how to deepen ESG integration in their firms and, more broadly, within the investment management industry.

The forum meets two to three times a year and each meeting is designed to provide time for both a general review of the state of the field as well as a deep dive on a particular issue of concern to members. Since its inception in 2015, the forum has explored issues such as Artificial Intelligence in Investment Management, ESG and Antitrust, ESG Integration and Impact, Climate Transition Strategy and the “Just” Transition, Climate Risk and the Energy Transition, ESG Credibility, Human Rights and the “S” in ESG, and The Future of ESG.

Benefits for participants in the forum include:

  • Networking and learning from fellow professional leaders in the field
  • Access to leading academic thought leadership and research from HMI’s academic partners
  • Frank conversations with leading industry service providers on the utility of their services and how they can be improved
