Asha Mehta, CFA, is Lead Portfolio Manager on Acadian’s quantitatively managed strategies. Her thematic focus includes Emerging & Frontier Markets and Sustainability Investing. She is founder and chair of the firm’s Responsible Investment Committee. Prior to joining Acadian, Asha worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and at Johnson & Johnson in a strategy role. Early in her career, she conducted microfinance lending in India. Asha was named one of the Top 10 Women in Asset Management by Money Management Executive.
She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and her work has been featured in Pensions & Investments, the FT, CNN, WSJ, and other publications. She is a board member of Compass Working Capital and CFA Society Boston, and she is a Global Angel of 100 Women in Finance. Asha holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and a B.S., Biological Sciences and A.B., Anthropology, from Stanford University.
